It's A Beautiful Day was a band from San Francisco (circa 1967). I fell in love with this song last Fall while making Thanksgiving dinner, but I couldn't find out who it was. At first I thought it was Jefferson Airplane, they were the only male/female 60s singing combo I could think of. Eventually I found out who it was and downloaded it immediately! The video above is the best one I could find on YouTube. But its not the video that matters, its the song! I really love the ethereal quality of the song and the profound, deep sadness. Sometimes I feel like a white bird.....
